From Merry to Mulch
Ours was a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I hope yours were too. With the passing of the holidays it is time to clear our the decorations, especially the more flammable ones. The family loved having a fragrant and green Christmas tree in our home. But since ours was a cut tree (we're out of room to plant another tree), the noble fir was drying out and losing needles despite watering. So, our tree has gone to a better place ... a Christmas tree mulching program. But, we'll see our tree again this spring when I go to pick up some free mulch for the garden.
